Letter X Art Activities
I am tone deaf. I can’t tune any instrument even if my life depends on it. And I feel like I’m missing out on something because I don’t know anything about music.
That’s why I make sure that my students are exposed to music. I want them to have the advantage that I don’t have.
In our school, we have music class once a week. Students learn about instruments and how to play them. And during regular class I always make sure to include songs in the lesson. Plus, I also have simple instruments in the classroom that the students may play.
My students enjoying playing the xylophone, maracas, tambourine and hand drum. These instruments are easy to play that even I can work them.
But if you don’t have any talent in music, maybe you and your child can start with this simple and fun activity: X is for Xylophone: Paper Pasting Activity. Just remember to play some music in the background and you are good to go!
