About

The Teaching Aunt- Teacher Nessy

My name is Nessy. I am a preschool teacher. Just recently, I’ve added “doting aunt” to my title. I am so excited to do fun art and craft activities with my cute curly- haired nephew, Seb. And I also can’t wait to share with him my love for learning.

As a preschool teacher, I know that it can be challenging for children to transition from being stay at home to attending school. And I’ve seen parents stressing about how to help their children take the big leap from being toddlers to students.

That is why I created this blog. I want to equip parents with knowledge on how they can prepare their children so they are ready for school when they come of age. And to provide them more materials so their children can rock preschool big time!

I have a lot of activities in mind that I would like to share. And they are guaranteed fun and educational- and sometimes a bit messy, too! Expect to get your hands dirty as we play, paint, read and write our way to fun learning. And you know what’s even amazing? Most of the materials that we’ll be using can be found in the confines of our homes. Just make sure to get your cleaning materials within reach!

And also, I’ll be providing some worksheets that children can practice on- because let’s admit it, sooner or later our children will need to get their hands on pencils and papers.

In my more than a decade of experience teaching preschool students, I have become “somehow an expert” at creating educational activities and designing learning materials for children. And I hope I can help you bring these into your homes through my blog.

Thank you for reading (and hopefully, sharing!)

P.S.

If you want to read more engaging contents about parenting (or if you want to see more photos of Seb- because who wouldn’t?) go check my sister’s blog at www.tribobot.com.

Lots of love,

Teacher Nessy
