Develop your child’s creativity through these WILD ANIMALS COLORING PAGES Free Printables from The Teaching Aunt.
Our school visits the local zoo every year. But despite the field trip being a regular thing, the students are still excited.
Little kids are fascinated with wild animals. And a lot of them remember their previous visits.
A few days before our trip to the zoo, my students would be buzzing about what they know about different wild animals.
They would tell story after story about their favorite zoo animals.
To ride on their excitement and to make sure that the moment would be maximized for education, I provide other learning activities that they can work on.
The following are my recommended learning activities:
- Show and Tell (I ask the students to bring a stuffed toy of their favorite zoo animal)
- Watch a National Geographic documentary about wild animals
- Draw zoo animal characters
- Work on coloring pages
- Decorate the classroom like a zoo
- Provide zoo-themed activities in the different learning areas
- Have a Safari-themed party
Some of the activities above may be too elaborate but they are worth trying.
But if you want something with low preparation, don’t worry. I got you covered.
