Learn about sea creatures in a fun way through these SEA ANIMALS COLORING PAGES from The Teaching Aunt.
Children retain information faster when they are having fun. And they keep the information long-term when it’s associated with a happy memory.
That’s why it’s important to introduce concepts to them in an enjoyable manner such as through:
- games
- arts and crafts
- field trips
- lesson parties
- educational videos
- cooperative settings
- projects
- experiments
One of my go-to activities is coloring.
I like this learning activity because it’s simple, easy to prepare, and applicable to all topics.
My students never get tired of this activity, even though they do coloring in almost all of our themes!
For clarification: I don’t ask my students to color every day. But coloring is one of our activities per the theme. So that means they do this activity once every two weeks.
The art and craft corner is another matter. there are coloring pages available in that learning area all the time. Children are free to work on these pages if they want to.
It’s their choice if they want to color every day.
