Let’s learn about the letter P through this pretty preschool art- P is for Piano Art and Craft Activity!

P is for Piano Art and Craft

Most of my students can play the piano or are learning to play the piano. At such a young age, you can already tell that they’re going to be great players in the future.

As for me, I don’t know how to play any musical instrument. Well, maybe the maracas? But then you don’t really have to study to learn how to play that one. You just wave it together with the beat so I got that one covered.

Since my students are much better than me in the music department, I just have them work on musical instrument related crafts.

The P is for Piano alphabet craft is my favourite. It’s easy to make plus it’s really cute.

It also targets the following learning objectives:

  • Master the letter P through a visual cue (image of a piano) and an auditory cue (beginning sound of the word piano)
  • Develop fine motor skills
  • Foster creativity and imagination
