Help your child learn and master alphabet order with these FREE MISSING LOWERCASE LETTERS WORKSHEETS!
Like the free missing uppercase letters worksheets, this printable builds on your child’s ordering skills. As I have mentioned in my previous post, alphabetical order skill is highly important in our daily lives. We can’t help but use this indispensable skill.
That is why I deem it important to share these free alphabet worksheets with you.
When I made these worksheets for my preschool students years ago, my goals were the following:
- Help them learn and master the order of the alphabet
- Review about lowercase letters
- Practice writing lowercase letters
- Develop their problem solving skills
But of course, let us not forget about other fun alphabet activities that we can do with our children to help them learn about letter order.
On top of my head, I have the arrange the alphabet game, sing the alphabet song, and display letter flashcards where children can easily see them.
See, it’s not all about worksheets!
It’s good to have them but it can also be harmful if it’s your only teaching tool.
Hence, balance is key!

These are great! I put them on dry erase boards and let the kindergarteners fill in the missing letters with magnetic letters. Thank you so much. I did notice on one sheet that the letter Q is left out (not intentionally missing). But I just wrote it on there.
Wow! I love how you’re using these worksheets. 🙂 And thank you for letting me know about the boo-boo in one of the pages. I’ll check and edit ASAP. Have a great day!
Thank you for your helpful worksheets teacher Nessy..
