Never miss a beat as you learn the letter N through this preschool art- N is for Night Art and Craft Activity!

We always have a Pajama Party every year at school. Everyone looks looks forward to that event- both adults and children.

It’s so exciting to see teachers and students wearing cute and colourful pajamas! Some even bring their blankets and stuffed toys to school.

Children get wide-eyed as they come inside their darkened classroom. And they can’t but look at the ceiling full of glowing stars.

And to further amplify the experience, we all watch a movie together (all preschool classes) and eat popcorn.

After the movie, we go back to our respective classrooms and work on a theme-related art and craft.

N is for Night is one of my favourites. I love it because it’s easy to do plus I can relate it to our lesson about the letter N.

This alphabet craft also targets the following learning objectives:

  • Master the letter N through a visual cue (image of night) and an auditory cue (beginning sound of the word night).
  • Improve fine motor skills
  • Foster imagination and creativity
