Colors make life beautiful. It helps us express our individuality. And it also helps set the mood.
That’s why it’s important to learn about colors as early as preschool.
Recognizing colors helps preschoolers make more sense of visual information. It helps them create links between visual cues, e.g. red is for stop, green is for go, etc… Thus it’s really helpful to have this skill early on.
To help you on this topic, I’m going to share with you these cute color words flashcards that I made years ago.
I love this flashcard set because it can be used for a lot of my classroom activities.
