Free Uppercase Letters Tracing Worksheets

I can’t wait to share with you today’s Freebie Friday! Presenting, Uppercase Letters Tracing Worksheets!

Free Uppercase Letters Tracing Worksheets

This tracing printable comes in vertical orientation and it also focuses on uppercase letters. So you know what that means…

Yup! A separate printable for lowercase letters! ๐Ÿ˜€

Before introducing this printable to your child, I suggest the following activities:

  • Use Concrete Objects

Use concrete objects to represent a letter. Example, show your child an apple when you teach the letter Aa.

Concrete objects help children retain information better because their senses are engaged- they can see, smell, touch or sometimes even hear and taste these objects.

If it’s not possible to provide the actual object, you may also use flashcards with pictures of concrete objects.

  • Do Art and Craft Activities

Art and craft activities further engage your child as he/she learns the letters. Plus, this activity activates your child’s imagination and creativity! And did I mention that it’s fun? ๐Ÿ™‚

See the following art activities:

O is for Octopus

L is for Lion

I hope you find the suggestions helpful. As a preschool teacher, I’ve already proven a thousand times that combining concrete objects and doing art and craft activities help children learn the letters effectively.

So if you have already done the suggestions above, you may now proceed to download the Uppercase Letters Tracing Worksheets.
